JACKSON, Tenn. – Due to the severe weather forecasted for Wednesday, Mayor Conger is opening the Civic Center as a severe weather shelter.
The Carl Perkins Civic Center and McKeller-Sipes Regional Airport will be open for citizens seeking shelter starting at 9 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
The Civic Center and airport will still adhere to COVID safety protocols and the City of Jackson will monitor the situation closely.
