Legal Notice of Public Hearing on Annexation and Proposed Plan of Service

The Jackson City Council will hold a public hearing on the annexation and proposed plan of service for an annexation area identified as “Tall Oaks-Freeman”, comprising 236.99± acres. The area is generally described as being located at Fiberglass Road, Anglin Road, Lower Brownsville Road and State Route 223. The proposed zoning classification for Subareas 1 and 2 is I-2 (Light Industrial) District.

The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at City Hall, 109 East Main Street, Suite 107 at 9:00 AM in the George A. Smith Meeting Room. All interested parties are invited to attend.

A copy of the proposed plan of service for the “Tall Oaks-Freeman” annexation area is available for public inspection during normal business hours in City Hall, at the office of the Jackson Planning Department, 111 East Main Street, Suite 201, Jackson, Tennessee.
