City of Jackson, TN announces 2nd Annual Jingle Bell Jackson Citywide Holiday Decorating Contest
JACKSON, Tenn. — Jingle Bell Jackson Holiday Decorating Contest and Guess the Bulb Challenge returns for the second year to bring holiday cheer to residents across the city. Residents are invited to nominate their favorite holiday-decorated homes for a chance to win exciting prizes and spread joy throughout the community.
The nomination period is open from December 1-6, 2024. During this time, residents can easily nominate their favorite holiday-decorated homes by completing a simple form online.
The winners of the Holiday Decorating contest will be announced on December 17, 2024. Two winners will be chosen this year and each will not only receive recognition for their outstanding holiday displays but also a cash gift: $1,000 to the winner of our judges’ pick, and $1,000 to the winner of the Voya Financial People’s Choice.
Public Voting* for the Voya Financial People’s Choice Award will take place beginning Monday, December 9, 2024. A map will be created and accessible for anyone wanting to visit and vote for their favorite holiday decorated home.
Also returning for year-two is the Jingle Bell Jackson Guess the Bulb Challenge sponsored by Prosper Realty. 404 Johnson Street in downtown Jackson, TN will be decorated, and residents are invited to estimate and submit their guess** of the number of bulbs on the house. The individual with the closest guess will be awarded a $500 Prosper Service credit.
