The City of Jackson, TN Announces 2026 Neighborhood Improvement Project Grant Opportunity

Jackson, Tenn. – The City of Jackson is excited to announce the launch of the 2026 Neighborhood Improvement Project Grant, offered through Neighborhood Services. This grant opportunity empowers community groups to lead projects that enhance quality of life across our neighborhoods.
We will host two information sessions on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at City Hall (Ben Langford Room):
- 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
- 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
These sessions will provide details about the application process, grant requirements, and budgeting considerations. A Q&A session will follow to answer any questions.
Eligible projects may include efforts to:
Activate underutilized spaces
Create community gathering or recreational spaces
Beautify residential or commercial areas through public art
Strengthen neighborhood relationships
Celebrate local culture and heritage
Promote volunteerism and community engagement
The grant offers multiple funding tiers, with awards up to $5,000 available to help bring community-driven ideas to life. The City is committed to supporting grantees throughout their projects to ensure meaningful and lasting impact.
