The Jackson Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit’s investigative responses are focused on offenders who use the internet, online communications systems, or computer technology to sexually exploit children.

The ICAC unit works to educate parents and children on internet safety strategies, through public presentations. This unit is a part of the Tennessee ICAC Task Force Program. The Tennessee ICAC Task Force program is a partnership between Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies across Tennessee, working hard to see child predators brought to justice.

The ICAC Taskforce Program is supported by the United States Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP).
