Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Jackson at its regularly scheduled meeting on March 2, 2021 at 9:00 AM will consider an Authorizing Resolution for the issuance of interest bearing Jackson Police Department Equipment Acquisition Capital Outlay Notes, Series 2021, for an amount not to exceed $1,759,152. The City Council will also consider an Ordinance to amend the FY 21 approved Budget Ordinance to reflect proceeds from Capital Outlay Notes in an amount not to exceed $1,759,152, to acquire vehicles for the Jackson Police Department. A Public Hearing will be held at the meeting of the Jackson City Council on March 2, 2021 at 9:00 AM, in the George A. Smith Room at Jackson City Hall. The proposed Authorizing Resolution and Ordinance are on file in the City Recorders Office, Suite 203, at Jackson City Hall, and may be examined during normal business hours.
